Camorristi and Mexican drug lords

I fall into the error of thinking if only the wars in the Middle East and Africa would end, then the carnage would stop. But then I read about the drug lords in Mexico and the Camorristi of Naples and realize that murder and bloodshed will never end. Whether it’s nations at war, or men outside of war, forming gangs of drug cartels killing one another simply for profit, murder is here to stay.

It has been going on for ages. In my long life, I look back to my childhood in the 1920s. My parents were immigrants from the province of Naples. Going go bed at night I could hear them talk for hours about the Camorristi of Naples and their murderous attacks on one another to take control of illegal activity in the streets and alleyways of the city. Small scale wars, but no less vicious. The killing all started long before, with  Cain killing his brother, Abel, and that was out of jealousy because he thought that God favored his brother more than himself.

Today the Camorristi gangsters of Naples and the drug lords of Mexico are committing crimes of carnage, and there is no end of massacre in sight for them, or the Middle East.
