Legs

Legs! God bless them. Where would we be without them? They take us where we want to go, anywhere in the world. But they need care and concern. Only in late life did I learn how to nourish and tend to them.  I began bathing them individually in the evening, applying light pressure up and down and rub in vaseline for a smoother skin.

In recent years I’ve developed muscle spasms in the legs that come in the dead of night. They’re hurtful. The doctor suggested potassium and other nutrients but the problem remains. Experience has taught me that they’re a constant visitor. But I found help. I googled leg spasms on the Internet and learned of a few actions that can provide relief and sometimes stop  them in their tracks. When an ankle becomes rigid, a precursor, I wiggle the foot back and forth, up and down, and then bend the leg at the knee and move the foot up and down. It usually stops the spasm.

Try it!
